I received this book from FlyByPromotions to read and write about on my blog.  I had never heard of John Eldredge before and didn't really know what to expect from this work.  After reading it, I really understand why people hold him so high as an author.  Great work and great examples, descriptions and more of how we just need to continue to try and live holy.  Once you figure out you'll never be perfect and just decide to continue to let the Lord use you and build you, you can get by all of this crazy stuff of the "world".  Reading this helped me understand why this verse means so much:

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." -Romans 12:1

We'll never be perfect and never be holy, but if we continue to present ourselves to the Lord to be used, God will be pleased!!
